Specifics of Television Series Abstract In the 20th century TV shows have become the dominant of the television media product. TV series achieve a rating that proves the demand for them. Nothing has a stronger influence than a TV show. It gives an example of how you should lead your life; it sets the style. All of this helps the show to become a very important element of aesthetics and communication. In the history of its existence, it depicted the models of social behavior, sometimes going against them, sometimes promoting them. On the other hand, nowadays television series are considered to be complicated and debatable among the audience. Some of the TV shows are low-quality products and affect the psychology of a viewer. Television Episodes are not only film-like products and among the genres of public culture, but a phenomenon, having a leading position in culture with its content and function. Television Series can be an instrument that has an impact on the audience’s mentality and can direct their views in real life. TV series with its structure presents a demandable product for many people and is aimed towards particular social groups. It is on the crossroad of three different fields: Filmmaking, Theatre, and Television. TV Series, which are in the phase of modernization, continue to broadcast set normative content. It reflects on the actual state of society i.e. socio-cultural contexts. Thus, the study of the traditional topics and genres in the frame of present tendencies enables us to conceptualize the human status problem in modern visual arts.
